Original is aged in oak casks from whiskey production, which gives the beer a slight note of whiskey and vanilla, and a lovely golden hue. Rum Cask IPA is aged in oak casks used in the production of Caribbean rum. It gives a flavor note of spiced rum with sweeter elements. The beer's unique colors come from the aging process, so don't be fooled by the dark color - it's an IPA, not a stout.
